But now, the company seems to be returning to Jony Ive’s original idea. That shift starts this year with the introduction of the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air and will likely continue next year with the 20th anniversary Pro model. A design with even more glass might sound like a nightmare for durability and repairs, but honestly, it feels exactly like something Apple would go for, especially to celebrate a major milestone like the iPhone’s 20th birthday.
