MIUI 14 Update Redmi Note 12 Pro Archives ~ My Mobile India

HIGHLIGHTS * Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus have received MIUI 14 update in India. * The update, however, is based on Android 12 and not Android 13. * MIUI 14 update brings new widgets, quick app launch, enhanced performance, improved battery life, new Super icons on the home screen and much more. Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus are now receiving the MIUI 14 software update in India. The company took to Twitter to announce the same but as per user reports, the MIUl update doesn't bring the Android version to 13; instead, it stays put in Android 12. This should come as a big disappointment to users considering Android 13 has been here for a while and we are just days away from the Android 14 announcement. MIUI 14 for Redmi Note 12 Pro Series MIUI 14 update brings new widgets, quick app launch, enhanced performance, improved battery life, new Super icons on the home screen and much more. There is a Smart ROM Optimisation feature which reduces cached storage by up to 3GB over the course of three months. MIUI 14 is claimed to boot up faster thanks to tweaks to the system that has resulted in lesser boot-up memory. The update also reduces RAM occupied by 19 system apps such as camera, messages, clock and others. There are 6 new wallpapers and new card-style widgets for users to choose. The MIUI 14 update will first be available to users who enrolled in the Mi Pilot program and gradually it will be made available to everyone. Users of Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus can check for the MIUI 14 update from System Settings. It is safe to have at least 50 percent battery life and enough storage before proceeding with the update.
