Apple made a hint about starting to display adverts in first-party apps like Books and Podcasts last week. Microsoft's widely used email program Outlook now appears to be moving in the same way. For those who are unaware, the Outlook mobile app offers two options for organizing the inbox. The software will only display critical emails if you select the "Focused" option. Users must go to the "Other" page in order to see all emails. Microsoft has already added advertisements to the "Other" option for free users. But. The Verge recently reported that Microsoft is adding adverts to the "Focused" page as well. The fact that the Outlook advertisements resemble typical emails is more aggravating. Additionally, more reappear to take their place when you delete them. Users are criticizing and refusing to get additional Microsoft Outlook advertisements in their inboxes on social media and in app stores. Subscription cost With a little notice on the right side indicating they are advertisements, the adverts are shown at the top of the inbox and seem to be authentic emails. Similar to how Instagram works, clicking on the email-like advertisement will launch a link in the in-app browser to see the content. The adverts do return after a short while, despite the fact that users may swipe them away or erase them.
