Motorola seems to be having a good start to the year 2022. The Lenovo-owned company is set to come with a third-generation Motorola Razr, upping the competition in the foldable market. The handset is one of the most anticipated bending devices that will be out this year. Motorola Razr 3 was teased in December last year and is reportedly under development. The phone was initially teased by the General Manager of Lenovo Mobile Business Group, Chen Jin, through a post on Weibo. In his post, he mentioned that Motorola Razr 3 will have “more advanced chip computing power, better human machine interface, and a more atmospheric appearance.” Now, less than a month after Chen Jin’s post, details about the upcoming Motorola Razr 3 smartphone have leaked online. Let’s check out the same: Motorola Razr 3 launch date At present, the Motorola Razr 3 official launch date is still under wraps. However, as per the media reports, it will be available later this year. The phone is expected to hit the shelves somewhere in June, 2022. Motorola Razr 3 specifications (expected) Motorola Razr 3 Display The Motorola Razr 3 will reportedly get a full HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The secondary screen on the other hand is tipped to get a centered punch hole. The primary display, on the other hand, is tipped to get a notch at the top. Motorola Razr 3 Processor XDA Developers reports that the upcoming Motorola Razr 3 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC that would be paired with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM along with 128, 256, or 512GB of storage space. Motorola Razr 3 Camera As per the Technik News report, the Motorola Razr 3 is said to get a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor OV50A Omnivision sensor, along with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle and macro sensor. On the front, the smartphone is said to feature a 32MP primary selfie Omnivision sensor. The report also mentions another 50MP sensor but speculates it to be a passive part of the main sensor. Reportedly, the cameras can record ultra-HD videos at 60 fps. The rear camera is also said to record a full-HD at 120 fps. Motorola Razr 3 Battery Although, no information has been shared regarding the battery life of the Moto Razr 3, but one can expect an upgraded battery and fast charging power. Motorola Razr 3 additional feature Additionally, the Moto Razr 3 is also said to get NFC support, an unnamed secondary display, and support for ultra-wideband (UWB). The ultra-wideband technology would allow users to unlock their cars or control their IoT. Motorola Razr 3 Price (expected) There’s no news on price either, but the Motorola Razr 2020 cost $1,399 (approx. 1,03,424), so we might see a similar price for 2022 model.
