After a slew of rumours, leaked renders and reports, Motorola has finally revealed the launch date of the Motorola Razr 40 series. Motorola is expectedly launching two foldable models: the vanilla Razr 40 and Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. As the names suggest, one should be priced affordably, while the other will be a premium model. It has been officially announced that the Moto Razr 40 series will make its global debut on June 1. The series will consist of two devices – Moto Razr 40 and Moto Razr 40 Ultra. Until now, the company has not confirmed anything about the India launch of smartphones, but we are expecting to know something related to that pretty soon. Motorola has teased the phones in a short video in which we can see not-so-clear clamshells. Motorola will be introducing two foldable phones dubbed the Motorola Razr 40 and the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra on June 1. The company confirmed the launch date of these two devices via a teaser released on its official Twitter handle. These upcoming smartphones will be introduced in the global market. As of now, the launch date of these devices for the Indian market is yet to be revealed. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will be the premium model among the two which will be featuring an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. Motorola Razr 40 Series launch Date Motorola Razr 40 series will be launched globally on June 1st. The company hasn’t specified anything about India launch just yet but we can speculate the vanilla model might land in the country at some point in time. The company revealed the launch date of the upcoming foldable phones in a short video which shows the clamshells hidden in a shadow, without specifying the names of the devices. Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Expected Specifications and Features It is being said that the Moto Razr 40 Ultra will ship with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display complemented with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will also get a 3.5-inch secondary display along with 1056×1066 pixels resolution. It will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The handset will operate on the MyUX custom skin based on the Android 13 operating system. In terms of optics, we may get to see a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP Sony IMX563 primary shooter and a 13MP SK Hynix Hi1336 ultra-wide angle shooter. For capturing selfies and attending video calls, the smartphone will get a 32MP front snapper. Connectivity options that we can get to see in the device are 5G, dual SIM, 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, GPS, WiFi 6, Bluetooth, and more. It will draw power from a 3,640mAh battery with 22W fast charging support. By the looks of it, we can say that the smartphone could have done better when it comes to battery capacity and charging speed. As of now, only a limited amount of information regarding the Moto Razr 40 Ultra is available online. Expectations are that we will get to know more about the same as soon as the launch date inches closer.
