This new update is based on Android 15 and brings a range of major improvements. The latest operating system versions usually roll out first to new devices. However, Android 15 was released to the Pixel 9 and its predecessor simultaneously this time. Now, Nothing OS 3.0 is coming to the Phone (2) after launching on the Phone (2a) first. Nothing OS 3.0 includes useful additions like shared widgets and the option to pin favourite apps at the top of the app drawer. The Quick Settings menu also gets a refresh to make navigation smoother. Improved camera on Phone (2) with faster launch, better HDR, and enhanced low-light performance The camera on the Phone (2) will also get notable upgrades with faster launch and HDR processing times, plus better performance in low light. The open beta will allow users to test out these changes and give feedback on improvements.
