One such idea is Philips Ambilight technology, which enhances the viewing experience. The LED lights on the TV's back can shine through in low-light settings, improving the viewing experience. The most recent addition to the Philips Ambilight 7900 Series in India significantly revives this idea at a more reasonable cost than ever. The Philips Ambilight 7900 series is a fairly standard Ultra-HD LED TV with the addition of three-sided Ambilight LED lighting at the back. It costs Rs. 99,990 for the 55-inch 55PUT7906/94 model. Here is all you need to know about the 55-inch 55PUT7906/94 variant of the Philips Ambilight 7900 series. Design and specifications of Philips Ambilight 7900 Series The 55-inch Phillips 7900 Series TV is compatible with VESA wall mounts (not included in the box) and weighs approximately 14.2kg without the stands. The TV frame has LED lights integrated into the left, top, and right edges that flash multicoloured light onto the wall behind the TV. The Philips Ambilight 7900 Series 55-inch television has ports on the back, including three HDMI ports, a USB Type-A port, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and Digital Audio-out (Toslink). While port on the left include one HDMI port (with ARC support), 3.5mm headphone jack, and one USB Type-A port. High dynamic range formats HLG, HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, are all supported by the Ultra-HD (3840 x 2160 pixel) screen of the Philips Ambilight 55PUT7906/94 LED TV. The new user interface can curate and push specific content recommendations using these streaming services. Remote control and other features Similar to any other Philips TV, the Ambilight 7900 series LED TV includes a full-sized remote control with their televisions. The remote has buttons to control playback, input selection, and a traditional number pad, which is much larger than it needs to be. It also has buttons to control navigation on the Android TV user interface. Hotkeys for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, and YouTube are available, along with buttons for the Google Assistant and a microphone for listening to voice commands. The Info button, which shows accuracy and internet speed, and the Ambilight button are two helpful additions. With the latter, you can quickly access the Ambilight menu, where you can modify settings like moods and preset lounge lighting or turn Ambilight effects on or off. It's beneficial to make a quick adjustment, especially if there is a lot of glare or the lights appear to be a little distracting. Performance The Ambilight effect, which improves the viewing experience in its own special way, is the primary feature of the Philips television and is also the most impressive. The undeniable convenience and ease of use of the Philips Ambilight television, as well as the fact that you can switch it off easily with the television remote, makes it a superior option for anyone looking at rear adaptive LED lighting. The Ultra-HD resolution LED screen on the Philips 55PUT7906/94 television supports HDR up to the Dolby Vision format. The picture is undoubtedly as sharp as possible, and the performance is adequate. However, there are a couple of issues that I wouldn't normally expect on a 55-inch television costing Rs. 100,000. Except Ambilight, the features of the Philips 55PUT7906/94 TV are fairly average. All Android TVs are equipped with Chromecast for sending content and Google Assistant for voice commands, so spending Rs 99,990 seems quite expensive.
