Earlier, Carl Pei-led Nothing confirmed the launch of its first smartphone in India on July 12. The company has been teasing the device for some time now and has finally revealed the launch date. Nothing is also ramping up its service network for the Phone (1) to provide customer support at over 270 authorised centres spanning more than 250 cities, Sharma confirmed. Nothing also plans to offer Phone (1) buyers year-round support through its own channels. Price of Phone (1) The price of the Nothing Phone (1) is yet to be announced. A new report states that the phone will be available for pre-booking on Flipkart starting July 12, 2022. The report also claims that Nothing Phone 1 can be pre-booked by paying an amount of Rs 2000. The pre-booking news has been confirmed by tipster Mukul Sharma. Nothing Phone (1) expected specifications Expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, the Phone (1) is reported to come paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The smartphone is said to boot Android 12-based custom skin out of the box. A 50 MP main camera, a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, the Nothing Phone (1) is tipped to feature a 4,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. According to the first look teased by the brand itself, the Phone (1) will come with the metal chassis and camera module.
