On Wednesday, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 was unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The new clamshell foldable smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, as predicted after many leaks and rumors. It is the successor to last year's Galaxy Z Flip 3 and boasts a water-resistant IPX8 construction with Armor Aluminum frames from Samsung. The display and rear glass of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus. Aside from the Flex mode, which automatically adjusts apps to accommodate the foldable screen, Samsung has included the FlexCam function on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 for recording photographs and movies handsfree.
