The peak brightness of the display has increased by more than 30%, up to 1750 nits. The smartphone features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 12GB RAM and storage of up to 1TB. For battery, the smartphone will run on a 4,400mAh dual battery for those massive displays with support for 25W Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 along with Wireless PowerShare. The smartphone is IPX8 and survived in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes in lab conditions. It runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1 on top of it. It has a fingerprint sensor on the side panel along with support for Dual Nano SIMs and one eSIM. For cameras, the Galaxy Z Fold5 comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 12MP Ultra Wide Camera of F2.2 aperture primary camera, a 50MP Dual Pixel AF Wide-angle Camera with OIS and F1.8 aperture and a 3X optical zoom 10MP Telephoto Camera with PDAF, F2.4 aperture and OIS. On the outer display, the phone has a 10MP Selfie Camera with F2.2 aperture. On the inner display, there is a 4MP Under Display Camera with F1.8 aperture.
