Since that time, complaints have started to roll in with greater reach. Oddly, the Apple website reports all of their services operational. Judging from the amount of reports, something is definitely screwy going on behind the scenes over there. A couple of their co-workers there have been hit by it too. All devices are now being signed out of the Apple IDs. Old password gives no go—completely locked out. There doesn't appear to be any clear reason why this is happening for specific accounts. Not sure if this has something to do with those huge waves of log-outs related to those problems over password breaches that Apple has had recently. Chances are that those are different things, but who knows at this point. Another serious headache is having Find My or Activation Lock on and then getting automatically logged out, likely when you are not around a trusted location. One more annoyance, though: changing your Apple ID password makes all those app-specific passwords you may have set up worthless, too.
