Vivo conducts 5G trials on Jio Archives ~ My Mobile India

Handset maker Vivo has conducted 5G test trials with telecom operator Reliance Jio in a test environment on its X80 series smartphones, which were launched recently. These trials, as per Vivo, showcased lag-free 4K-video streaming on the X80 devices along with super-fast data upload and download. Vivo said it has collaborated with Jio to deliver unmatched customer experience to Indian customers. The successful testing of the Vivo X80 devices showcased its future readiness and best-in-class capabilities to support the 5G network, enabling an enhanced user experience. It is a step forward in creating a handset ecosystem for the rapid adoption of 5G technology in the country, said Vivo in a statement. The recently-launched X80 series is the flagship offering from Vivo, focused on capturing the premium-camera-experience market with a smart mix of technology and design aesthetics. Price After launching globally, Vivo recently introduced its premium X80 and X80 Pro smartphones in India. These phones are successor to the Vivo X70 series. Launched in two storage variants, Vivo X80 costs Rs 54,999 for its 8GB + 128GB model, while 12GB + 256GB model of the Vivo X80 is priced Rs 59,999. The Vivo X80 Pro carries the price tag of Rs 79,999 for the high-end 12GB + 256GB version. Vivo X80 Pro has been launched in Cosmic Black colours while the vanilla X80 also is also available in Urban Blue colour options.
