Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to launch its new smartphone in India this month. The brand has confirmed to launch Vivo T1x in the Indian market on July 20. Already available in select global markets, the 4G variants of Vivo T1X was launched in Malaysia in April 2022, while 5G variant of the Vivo T-series phone powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC was released in China in October 2021. The Malaysian variant features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 680 SoC and Chinese variant of the Vivo T-series phone powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. The Indian variant of the Vivo T1X is expected to be launched with 5G connectivity and likely to come up with a dual rear camera setup headlined by 50-megapixel primary shooter. The launch event of the Vivo T1 X will be held online at 12pm (IST) on July 20. T1X Vivo The poster released by Vivo confirms that the T1 X will be launched in Blue and Black colour variants with dual rear cameras. Vivo has created a dedicated microsite teasing the launch of Vivo T1x. Those interested can hit on the “Notify Me” button on the website to get the latest updates. The phone will be available for purchase via Flipkart, official website of Vivo and other retail stores. Vivo T1x expected price in India Available in two storage variants in global markets, the Vivo T1x 5G is priced CNY 1,699 in China which is equivalent to around Rs19,900. The 4G variant in Malaysia costs MYR 649, roughly Rs. 11,400. Going by the price in the global markets, it can be assumed that the Vivo T1x in India may be priced under Rs20,000 bracket. Vivo T1x expected specifications Talking about the specifications, the teased Indian variant seems identical to its Chinese model. With a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display, the Vivo T1x offers up to 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM, the Vivo T1 X features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The Vivo T1x gets fuels from a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging. The 4G variant of the Vivo T1x packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. Coming to the camera, the Vivo T1x features a triple rear camera setup comprising of 50-megapixel primary sensor and features up to 128GB of onboard storage.
