Xiaomi confirmed earlier this month that Mix Fold 3 will arrive in August and will be the first device, built on a new manufacturing line with improved design to ensure the strength of the foldable's body. Today, the official Weibo profile of the company confirmed the report once again, and added that Xiaomi and Leica developed a new solution for an "optical full-focus quad-cam setup". This means that the Mix Fold 3 will have four shooters instead of three seen in both its predecessors. Xiaomi has officially confirmed today that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will launch in China next month i.e. August. However, the company has not explicitly revealed the launch date. At the same time, Leica has shared some details regarding the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. As per details shared by Leica, the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will feature a Leica optical full-focus quad camera module. The device will have a thin and strong structure as well as multiple lenses with excellent performance ranging from ultra-wide angle to periscope ultra-telephoto. The smartphone might be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The other details of the handset such as RAM, storage configuration, and display size remain unknown. It features a triple-camera setup which consists of a 50MP primary camera, 8MP telephoto lens, and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor.
