Sony Mobile, a subsidiary of the electronics giant Sony Corporation, is expected to launch Sony Xperia 5 IV soon. It is expected to be in the market in April this year. Though, anything concrete on the release date and specifications are yet to be announced. According to rumours, the upcoming model of the Xperia range is likely to have specifications similar to Sony Xperia 1 IV. The Sony Xperia 5 IV is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 5000mah battery with 45w charging, 12/16GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. The model is also likely to have improved quad camera system with new sensors and improved design. The report also claims that display of the Sony Xperia 5 IV is likely to be similar to the Xperia 1 III. The Xperia 1 III was launched on August 25, 2021. Sony should consider offering wireless charging for its upcoming model as it has become a standard feature for high-end handsets. Sony Xperia 5 III does not offer it.
