Most Android phones today run on chipsets from either Qualcomm or MediaTek. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors dominate the flagship segment, while MediaTek powers many mid-range and budget devices.

Samsung, on the other hand, uses its in-house Exynos chips and lower-end devices in some regions.

According to a report from Bloomberg, Xiaomi aims to launch smartphones in 2025 powered by its in-house chip. The company plans to begin mass production of these processors in the same year.
