Now, a few months later, Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in China alongside the flagship Xiaomi 15 Series and a host of other products in different categories. It features sportier bumpers, a prominent 1.56-meter-wide rear spoiler and a broader body. These changes, along with an active rear diffuser, give it a claimed downforce of 265 kilograms. It supports fast DC charging, allowing a 10-80% charge in just 11 minutes with a 5.2C charge rate. The battery of SU7 Ultra battery powers three electric motors, two V8s and one V6. This setup allows the SU7 Ultra to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds, hit 200 km/h in 5.86 seconds and reach a top speed of 350 km/h. It also boasts a quarter-mile time of 9.23 seconds and includes an Asil-D torque vectoring system for enhanced handling. Xiaomi SU7 Ultra - Braking System and Competition For braking, Xiaomi has equipped the SU7 Ultra with the largest carbon ceramic brake discs ever on a production car. The front discs measure 430 mm x 40 mm, while the rear discs are 410 mm x 32 mm. These brakes, paired with six-piston front and four-piston rear Akebono callipers, can withstand temperatures over 1,300°C and bring the car from 100 km/h to a stop in just 30.8 meters. Though the SU7 Ultra prototype set a record lap time at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the production version might be slightly slower due to added weight. The prototype had a lightweight carbon fibre body, giving it a curb weight of 1,900 kg.
