Tecno Camon 20 series of smartphones is all set to go official on May 27.
The company has recently launched the Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, Camon 20 Pro 5G, and Camon 20 Premier 5G in the global market.
It appears some of these or all four phones will be heading to the Indian market.
Ahead of the official announcement, the Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G are now listed on Tecno India’s website.
The listings have also revealed the price of both smartphones. Tecno is trying to capture the smartphone market worldwide, including India.
The brand recently unveiled India’s cheapest foldable smartphone, Tecno Phantom V Fold. Tecno also launched a couple of smartphones in the Camon 20 series in the global markets.

Tecno Camon 20 Series India launch date
The company has confirmed that the Tecno Camon 20 series will be launched in India on May 24th. And, as per the company, users can pre-book smartphones from the series via retail stores.
Meanwhile, the series has four smartphones but the company has listed only the Tecno Camon 20, and the Tecno Camon 20 Pro on the Indian website, which indicates that Tecno might launch only these two smartphones in India.
Tecno Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro 5G: Specifications
Tecno Camon 20 features a 6.67 inches AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution. It is equipped with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, built on a 12nm process. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Tecno also offers a virtual memory option to expand the RAM up to 8GB.
In terms of optics, it is equipped with a triple-rear camera setup with an integrated LED flash with a ring. The setup consists of a primary 64MP sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a QVGA camera. Tecno has integrated a centred punch-hole to house the 32MP front camera, which also is assisted using dual LED flash.
The smartphone is backed by a large 5000mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging tech.
The higher Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G sports a similar sized 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. However, Tecno has upgraded the refresh rate to 120Hz compared to the vanilla Camon 20.
Both smartphones are also equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Camon 20 Pro 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset, built on a 6nm process.
Like the vanilla Camon 20, the Pro variant is also paired with 8GB of RAM, which supports virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB and 256GB of storage. In terms of optics, the Pro variant gets a proper triple-rear camera setup with an integrated LED flash.
The setup comprises of primary 64MP sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Pro variant gets the same 32MP front camera with dual LED flash. The primary difference lies in the design, where the Pro variant has a textured leather rear panel with water resistant ceramic panel.
The Camon 20 Pro 5G is backed by a large 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
We can expect Tecno to reveal the prices of the smartphones at the India launch on May 27. Both phones are likely to be priced aggressively starting at under Rs 15,000 for the Camon 20, while the Pro variant is likely to be available in the sub-Rs 20,000 price category.

Tecno Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro India Price
Currently, there is no information about their India pricing. However, the phones were launched in Nigeria at NGN 133,300 (approx Rs 23,800) and the Camon 20 Pro at NGN 155,400 (approx Rs 27,700). We must wait for the company to reveal the Indian price of these smartphones.
