It looks like the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Tecno is shifting focus to the next-generation lineup with the Spark 30 5G already under development.
According to multiple media reports, the Tecno Spark 30 5G recently passed through the FCC certification.
It certification document circulating online reveals that Spark 30 5G will come with an 18W charger.
And similar to the Spark 20, it will offer up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Last December, Tecno introduced the Spark 20, and since then, the lineup has expanded with several new models.
According to the schematic image, the Spark 30 5G will feature a square-shaped camera module—basically a square with rounded corners.
The power and volume buttons are on the right side, with the power button likely doubling as a fingerprint scanner.
The phone’s dimensions are listed as 165 x 76 x 8mm, making it 0.5mm slimmer than its predecessor.
While other details are still under wraps, the FCC certification confirms that the Spark 30 5G will support 5G, suggesting it will be powered by a 5G-compatible processor.
We can expect more details to surface as the device passes through additional certification sites.
As a quick recap, the Tecno Spark 20 features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth visual experience.
It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which includes an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz.
