Vivo T2 Pro 5G will be the third the device in the T2 series as the company previously had introduced the Vivo T2 5G and the Vivo T2x 5G smartphones.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G India launch date has been set for next week, the Chinese company confirmed on Thursday (September 14).
The new handset will debut as a close sibling of the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G that went official in India in April this year. Vivo has also shared some images of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G to showcase its curved display.
It is shown in a golden shade with a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout on display.
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G is confirmed to go on sale via Flipkart.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G will feature a 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage according to a past leak .
The Geekbench listing now showed the hardware specification of the smartphone .
Vivo T2 Pro 5G Geekbench
Vivo T2 Pro 5G (V2321) will be powered by Dimensity 7200 SoC which will be accompanied by Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. The device will pack up to 8GB of RAM as revealed by the Geekbench test .
The smartphone will boot Android 13 out of the box with FuntouchOS 13 skin on top. The phone scored 1161 and 2625 points in the single-core and multi-core test results respectively.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G Launch Date Revealed
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G is confirmed to launch in India on September 22. The launch is scheduled to take place at 12 PM IST.
The launch poster confirms the upcoming phone will be sold via Flipkart, Vivo E-Store, and offline stores across the country.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G Design
The launch announcement poster reveals a teaser image that unveiled the Vivo T2 Pro 5G’s design.
The phone comes in a flashy gold colourwith a curved display. It has a punch-hole display with curved edges and what looks like a matter finish at the back.
There is the aura light ring on the camera module of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G. The smartphone should launch in more colours. The dual rear camera setup has a “Aura Light” and “OIS Portrait” branding.
The smartphone seems to be focussed on portrait photography performance & potrait shots.
There is “Professional Portrait” branding on the phone’s top frame.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G camera capabilities include optical image stabilization and low-light detection for portrait shots.
Vivo T2 Pro Specifications
Vivo T2 Pro 5G will feature a 64MP primary camera with OIS support.
The camera is said to be capable of recording 4K videos.
The device should get a 3D curved AMOLED display which could have a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200Hz touch sampling rate.
The smartphone should measure around 7.4mm in terms of thickness.
The phone will have a punch-hole cutout at the centre which will have the selfie camera as seen in the teaser released by Vivo.
The phone may come in two storage sizes: 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, and another version with 256GB storage.
As for the Vivo T2 Pro processor, it might use the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G Price in India (Expected)
Price details of Vivo T2 Pro 5G in India are yet to be officially out , though it is tipped to be priced around Rs. 23,999.
The pricing could be similar with that of the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G in India.
The latter was unveiled last month with a price tag of Rs. 21,999 and Rs. 22,999 for the 128GB and 256GB variants, respectively.
Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo T2 Pro 5G as an upgrade over the existing Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G.
The price of Vivo T2 5G in India starts at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the Vivo T2x 5G costs Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
