But we had to see if the phone could translate what looked great on paper into reality, so we managed to get our hands on the device.

The design of the Vivo T3 Ultra 5G is all about elegance and premium-ness. It is one of the major highlights of the phone.

The first thing you’ll notice is how slim it is. Vivo claims it is the slimmest curved phone in its category. This is even more impressive when you realise it has a massive 5500mAh battery tucked inside.

At just 7.58mm thick, it feels sleek and comfortable in hand. It’s nothing like those big battery-capacity bulky phones.

The back finish is smooth and the Lunar Grey colour variant (which we had for this review) looks stylish without being too loud.

What really stands out is the Gemini Ring in the camera module at the back. It is one of the small design details that make T3 Ultra a real eye-catcher.

Moreover, Vivo didn’t just work on design, the T3 Ultra has a tough build too.

The phone boasts IP68 dust and water resistance, meaning it can handle everyday splashes or even being submerged in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Moreover, the brand has used upgraded cushioning materials, raised four corners and widened the support structure.

Overall, design-wise, we would say the Vivo T3 Ultra is a slim, stylish, and built-to-last phone that has done well in both aesthetics and durability.

The Vivo T3 Ultra 5G has a beautiful AMOLED display that elevates the overall feel of the phone immediately.

It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K ultra-clear AMOLED screen that’s ultra-smooth, thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate.

With a 2800 x 1260 1.5K resolution, this display is perfect for a top-tier visual experience. Everything from scrolling through apps to watching videos feels immersive and crisp.

There is that AMOLED sharpness that adds to the experience. It is clear and brings every detail to life.

The 3D curved design adds to the premium feel, making the viewing experience more enjoyable.

The brightness levels of the phone are good. We tried taking photos and replying to messages outdoors and the screen stayed clear and easy to read.

The 1200 nits peak brightness across the full screen and an impressive local peak brightness of 4500 nits ensure that visibility is hardly ever an issue.

Even in direct sunlight, it remains largely visible.

There is also the triple SGS certification for low blue light, low image sticking, and low flicker. This means you can enjoy long hours of use without straining your eyes.

The colour quality is incredible. It offers over a billion colours with deep contrasts and vivid tones. The 8000000:1 contrast ratio just adds that extra punch to the visuals.

The Vivo T3 Ultra 5G is equipped with the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. It promises flagship-level speed and efficiency.

Whether you’re gaming, multitasking or everyday scrolling, the phone is powerful enough to fly through daily tasks. We tried multitasking on the phone.

Opened a couple of gaming apps, MS Word, a streaming app, our Gmail app and Chrome simultaneously and switching between apps was snappy.

It was clear that the phone could handle multitasking well without any noticeable flinch.

We didn’t experience any lags or performance drops while we used the phone.

However, one troubling issue with the phone is overheating. Vivo T3 Ultra got hot as soon as it had to handle some of that heavy lifting.

We tested the phone on certain benchmark platforms, and the results were impressive such as the 1401853 AnTuTu score but the phone was overheating causing in convenience.

Overheating is a concern with the Vivo T3 Ultra and it takes away from the good performance the phone carries.

We are hoping that the brand take notice of this. There is a chance some hidden setting is causing this overheating or it needs a software update.

Nonetheless, for AI-driven tasks, the new Neural Network Engine APU is at work with APU Fusion and optimized AI computing power.

The T3 Ultra handles advanced tasks like AI-based photography and speech recognition with ease. We didn’t face any issues there.

All in all, the Vivo T3 Ultra 5G brings serious power to play here. The phone can keep up with tasks without breaking a sweat.

However, the overheating concern was a little Problem otherwise the phone hase impressive performance.

The main 50MP camera is powered by the flagship-level Sony IMX921 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It shines in both daylight and low-light scenarios.

The phone is optimised for fantastic night shots as well.

Vivo has used a Camera-Bionic Spectrum technology. This allows sensors to process light in a way that closely mimics how our eyes perceive the scene. Results – you get a natural and true-to-life picture.

It is particularly impressive how the camera never over-enhances the pictures, which is an issue with most phones today.

The 8MP wide-angle lens with a 120° field of view is a handy addition, allowing you to capture more in a single frame.

On the front, there is a massive 50MP wide-angle camera with a 92° field of view. It delivers crisp shots, even when zoomed in.

This also ensures that group selfies are no problem. The pictures come out sharp and well-lit.

Both front and rear main cameras of the phone support 4K at 60 FPS resolution video recording. And the hybrid ultra-stable video (OIS + EIS dual stabilization) handles the recording superbly.

The videos we shot came out with excellent quality.

First, we have the AI Facial Contouring Technology that helps enhance facial features.

One cool feature is the AI Erase tool, which makes it super easy to remove unwanted elements from your photos, like passersby or objects.

You simply circle or smudge the distractions. The tool swiftly gets rid of them. We tried experimenting with it and the tool performs well.
