The Vivo V50 might be making its way to India soon. While Vivo hasn’t officially confirmed a launch date, leaks suggest it could arrive in the second half of February. The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and could offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Here’s everything we know about this phone so far.

Vivo V50 India Launch Timeline (Expected)

According to tipster Yogesh Brar @heyitsyogesh on X (formerly Twitter) in collaboration with SmartPrix, the Vivo V50 is expected to launch in the third week of February, possibly on February 18. However, the Vivo V50 Pro might arrive later.

Another popular tipster on X Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd also backed the February launch rumours. He also mentioned that the device will be available in four colour options including blue, grey, rose and red.

Vivo V50 Specifications (Expected)

The Vivo V50 is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and could come in three storage variants –

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
  • 12GB RAM + 512GB storage

Interestingly, tipster Yadav suggests that Vivo might not launch the V50 Pro this time. The V50 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S20, which is currently exclusive to China.

The Vivo S20 was launched in China in November 2024 with the following features

  • 67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display (1,260 × 2,800 pixels)
  • Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor
  • Dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor
  • 50MP front camera for selfies
  • 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging

The Vivo S20 was introduced at CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 27,000). If the Vivo V50 is indeed a rebranded version, it will likely feature similar specs and pricing.
