The Vivo V80 Lite 5G has surfaced in another online listing that suggest its launch could be just around the corner. After recently appearing on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform, the upcoming Vivo smartphone has now been spotted on the Google Play Supported Devices List that reveals more clues about its possible specifications.

The Vivo V80 Lite 5G has appeared on the Google Play Supported Devices List with the model numbers V2643, V2644, and V2576. Interestingly, the V2576 model number is also linked to the Vivo S2, suggesting that the Vivo V80 Lite 5G could launch as a rebranded version of the Vivo S2 in select global markets.

If this turns out to be true, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G is expected to share most of its hardware with the Vivo S2.

Vivo V80 Lite 5G – Expected Specifications

The Vivo V80 Lite 5G is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness.

For photography, the smartphone is expected to sport a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, it could feature a horizontal camera module housing a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 primary sensor, an additional rear camera, and Vivo’s Aura Light LED.

Under the hood, the handset is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset. It could also pack a 7,050mAh battery, making it one of the larger battery phones in its segment.

The Vivo V80 Lite 5G is expected to run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top. Other rumoured features include dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an ultra-slim 7.39mm profile, despite housing a large battery.

Launch Timeline

Vivo has not yet officially announced the Vivo V80 Lite 5G or confirmed its specifications. However, with the smartphone appearing on multiple certification platforms and now on the Google Play Supported Devices List, its launch appears to be getting closer.

Based on the latest developments, the device is expected to make its debut later this month.
