After launching the Vivo X80 and Vivo X90 series in China and in India, the company appears to be working on the successor, dubbed the Vivo X100 lineup.
The new series might launch towards the end of this year and will include three models: the Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro+. Now, ahead of the announcement, the chipset details of all three models have been tipped, courtesy of DigitalChatStation.
Vivo recently launched flagship Vivo X90 and X90 Pro smartphones in India. The company didn’t launch the Vivo X90 Pro+ smartphone in India. Vivo is also working on another smartphone in the X90 series, which will be launched as Vivo X90S.
The device was spotted on TENAA and Google Play Console listing. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station revealed through a Weibo post that the upcoming Vivo X100 series would include Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro +.
Like its predecessor, the Pro + model would be limited to China. The tipster reveals the processor details and hints about the key specifications of the upcoming smartphones.
Vivo X100 Series Chipsets

Vivo X100 Series Tipped Specifications
Digital Chat Station reveals that the Vivo X100 Pro + would be equipped with Qualcomm 8 Gen 3 chipset. Qualcomm has announced the dates for the Tech Summit 2023, where it will unveil the chipset.
Qualcomm is expected to officially announce the list of smartphones that will use the upcoming chipset. There are rumours that Xiaomi 14 series would be the first to sport the chipset.
The upcoming chipset is expected to offer many improvements over its predecessor. Previously, another Chinese tipster named Panda is Bald revealed that the company is expected to continue the same 1-inch primary camera with the upcoming Vivo X100 Pro + smartphone. He also added that Vivo will equip the smartphone with variable aperture support.
The device will also feature an ultra-wide-angle lens which will be free-form surface lens. These types of lenses will allow for wider and clearer images. The device is also tipped to feature a portrait micro-cloud platform that uses advanced algorithms to enhance portrait photography.
Vivo will also equip the device with a new periscope lens to enhance the image quality during the night. The X100 Pro + is also tipped to feature V3 ISP to improve the camera performance. Other details of the Pro + smartphone is unknown at the moment.
Vivo X90 and X90 Pro were the first smartphones to feature MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. The company is tipped to launch Vivo X100 and X100 Pro with the world’s first smartphones with MediaTek Dimenisty 9300 SoC.
Both of these chipsets would be manufactured on a 4nm node process. The upcoming Dimensity 9300 is tipped to feature only powerful cores.
In a recent post by Digital Chat Station, he revealed some key specifications of the vanilla X100 Pro smartphone. The tipster revealed that the Pro would feature a 1-inch primary sensor similar to the Vivo X90 Pro +.
The rear camera setup will also include a periscope sensor which will bring support for higher optical zoom. Vivo will equip the smartphone with 100W flash charge fast charging tech. The company will also use a glass back panel with the device.
