How to Set Maturity Ratings on Netflix to View Appropriate Content

Netflix has shows for all ages, so set a maturity rating to hide grown-up shows from your kids. We'll show you how!

Set maturity rating on Netflix on smartphone and tablet – Open the Netflix app and tap "My Netflix." – Tap the menu icon (three lines) and choose "Manage Profiles." – Select the profile you want to edit. – Tap "Viewing Restrictions" followed by "Maturity Rating." – Enter your Netflix password and choose the appropriate level (U to A).

Set maturity rating on Netflix on Web browser – Go to the Netflix website and log in to your account. – Click on your profile picture or username in the top right corner. – Select "Account" from the dropdown menu. – Under "Profile & Parental Controls," find the profile you want to edit. – Click on "Viewing restrictions." – Enter your Netflix password for verification. – Choose the desired maturity rating level (options range from U to A). – Click "Save" to confirm your changes.

Apart from this, you can also manually block a TV show or movie in Settings. Follow the steps to do that. Step 1: In the Maturity Rating option, tap on Block Titles. Step 2: Search for the show you want to block and tap on it. Step 3: Lastly, tap on Save.
