Nothing OS 2.6 Update Now Available for Nothing Phone (1)

– Nothing has released the Nothing OS 2.6 update for Nothing Phone (1). – The update was previously available for Phone (2) and Phone (2a). – Includes the latest September 2024 Android security patch.

New Features: – Swipe down on incoming notifications to enter pop-up view for easier access without leaving an app. – Enable vibration for third-party apps during calls via Settings > Sound and vibration > Vibration. – Battery and Pedometer widgets can now be displayed on the lock screen and Always On Display.

Bug Fixes and Improvements: – Enhanced NFC stability for more reliable connections. – Improved speed of Bluetooth tile toggle in Quick Settings. – Fixed issues with Bluetooth tile displaying incorrect earbud information and multimedia messaging. – Resolved missing flashlight tile in Quick Settings and auto-rotation of some cloned apps.

Additional Fixes: – Addressed issue where the Media Player Widget failed to play music when switching from guest to main user. – The update is being rolled out gradually; check for availability via Settings > System > System Update.
