Apple’s new iPhone series — the iPhone 16 — is coming out this September, according to reports.
Before they’re released next autumn, however, there have been hints online about what colours will be available for them.
The tech company is well-known for creating colourful smartphonesand this year could see their brightest yet, with up to seven different shades said to be coming for the iPhone 16 Plus.
According to leaked information, there are going to be seven options in total for people buying the larger model of phone – blue, pink, yellow, green, black, white and purple.
A Kaleidoscope of Hues for the iPhone 16 Plus
Apple appears poised not only to expand its range of hues beyond what was on offer with last year’s 15 Plus but also bring ‘em out in pairs – adding both lightness (in form) and darkness (in shade) together as it were … or so says my theory anyway!
An announcement from the Chinese social website Weibo (via MacRumors) has recently brought to light the fact that the iPhone 16 Plus – or perhaps its inclusion of colour schemes – behaves according to a wide gamut; but we’re not sure whether this will apply also to the regular iPhone 16.
Nonetheless, considering how Apple likes keeping appearances consistent throughout different sizes available for any given model it’s more than likely that these new colours shall feature across both editions of 16.
A Fresh Coat of Titanium for the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max
Apple began introducing premium finishes into their line-up with last year’s Pro iPhones which were treated using a process involving titanium.
However, they are now readying themselves for another such release next year albeit different hues applied this time around will be made available only on the Pro models within series 16 according to reports so far.
