Infinix has maintained its focus on the budget smartphone segment for a while now and recent updates show some more smartphone launches being lined up in the same category. According to the latest exclusive Gizmochina report, a new Infinix Note 50 series just surfaced in the GSMA database.

As per shared screenshots, the upcoming Infinix Note 50 will include four models – the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G, Infinix Note 50 Pro, Infinix Note 50 and Infinix Note 50X.

The GSMA database reveals model numbers for each phone:

  • Note 50 Pro+ 5G – Model number X6856
  • Note 50 Pro – Model number X6855
  • Note 50 – Model number X6858
  • Note 50X – Model number X6857

As of now, the exact specifications are still under wraps. However, we can assume what to expect based on the previous Note 40 series.

To refresh memory, the Infinix Note 40 Pro came with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 1300 nits.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor, it offered 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Its camera setup included a 108MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 3x lossless zoom feature, plus a 32MP selfie camera.

The battery capacity was 5000mAh, supporting 45W wired and 20W wireless fast charging. With IPX3 water and IP5X dust resistance ratings, it was also designed for durability. The device ran on Android 14-based XOS 14.

The standard Infinix Note 40 featured similar specs but used the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor. The camera and battery capacities closely matched the Pro model.

For a simpler option, the Note 40X came with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display, a 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor.

It offered up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For the camera side, it featured a 108MP main camera and a 2MP auxiliary lens. The battery was 5000mAh with 18W fast charging.

Infinix Note 50 Series – What to Expect?

The Infinix Note 50 series will most likely offer similar or slight upgrades in terms of design and features from its predecessor.

The Note 50 Pro+ 5G is expected to enter the mid-range market.

The 4G version possibly will use a different processor keeping the core features consistent.
