IRCTC has rolled out a brand-new mobile app called ‘SwaRail’ for Android and iOS users. Currently available in early access, this app brings together multiple Indian Railways services in one place. SwaRail can help you in planning your journey to booking tickets, tracking trains in real time, checking PNR status and even ordering food.
Developed in India by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), the app is designed to make train travel easier and more convenient. Even though SwaRail is still in early access, users can continue to use the existing IRCTC app for ticket bookings.
SwaRail aims to offer a smoother and smarter travel experience for Indian Railways passengers, all from your smartphone.
