Motorola is set to unveil its latest clamshell foldables under the Razr 70 series on April 29. Ahead of the official debut, new promotional images of the upcoming smartphones have surfaced online offering a closer look at their design and colour options. Here’s more on that.
Well-known tipster Evan Blass has shared what appear to be official marketing images of the Motorola Razr 70 and Motorola Razr 70 Ultra. These images showcase both devices in multiple finishes giving a near-final look at what consumers can expect at launch.
The Razr 70 Ultra is expected to arrive in new colour options including Orient Blue Alcantara and Pantone Cocoa Wood. In terms of design, leaks suggest that the Ultra variant will not see major changes compared to its predecessor, the Razr 60 Ultra maintaining a familiar clamshell foldable form factor.
When it comes to specifications, the Razr 70 Ultra is tipped to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with a 5,000mAh battery. It is also expected to include a dual 50MP rear camera setup, a 4-inch cover display and a large 7-inch inner screen. Additionally, the device may house a 50MP selfie camera further highlighting its focus on imaging.
The standard Razr 70 has also appeared in the leaked images shown in three colour options although reports suggest it could be available in four shades at launch. These include Pantone Bright White, Pantone Sporting Green, Pantone Hematite, and Pantone Violet Ice.
In terms of hardware, the Razr 70 is expected to come with a dual 50MP camera setup and a 4,800mAh battery. It may feature a 6.9-inch inner display along with a 3.63-inch cover screen. Powering the device could be the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X chipset positioning it as a more affordable alternative within the lineup.
Motorola is also expected to market these devices differently in the US, where they may be introduced as Razr 2026 and Razr Ultra 2026.
With the launch just around the corner, these latest leaks provide a comprehensive look at both foldables and key specifications ahead of the official announcement.
