OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus Nord 6 in India today bringing a major upgrade to its predecessor. The standout features include the latest Snapdragon chipset, a massive 9,000mAh battery, and a high refresh rate AMOLED display. It brings premium durability certifications and enhanced cooling as well. Here’s everything you need to know about the new mid-range OnePlus headliner.
While the company has announced the smartphone today, OnePlus Nord 6 will officially go on sale start 9th April at 12 pm IST via official OnePlus channels and major online platforms.
The phone is available in two configurations, which are 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Pricing for both memory variants are as follows –

The phone comes in three colour options namely Quick Silver, Fresh Mint and Pitch Black.
The OnePlus Nord 6 features a 6.78-inch Sunburst AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels, delivering a pixel density of 450ppi and a 19.6:9 aspect ratio. The display supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 165Hz with multiple modes (60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz, and 165Hz), along with up to 3200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate thanks to a dedicated Touch Reflex chip.
It offers peak brightness levels of up to 3600 nits, 10-bit color depth with 1.7 billion colors and full coverage of both sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts. Additional display features include 3840Hz PWM dimming, Sunburst display, Eye comfort, Bed time mode, Screen color mode, Color personalization, Color vision enhancement, Auto/Manual brightness, White point reduction, Screen color temperature, Night Mode and Multi-brightness color calibration.
The device also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform paired with an Adreno 825 GPU. It comes with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM alongwith OnePlus RAM-Vitalization and expandable virtual RAM options up to 12GB. Storage is fixed at 256GB UFS 4.1 across both variants. The device also features a large 33,147mm² heat dissipation area to ensure sustained performance. It runs on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and is rated for smooth performance for up to 72 months.
For photos, the OnePlus Nord 6 sports a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA-600 primary sensor with a 1/1.953-inch sensor size and 0.8μm pixel size. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera using the OmniVision OV08F sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device includes a 32-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone packs a massive 9,000mAh SiCarbon battery supporting 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging alongwith 13.5W PD and up to 55W PPS charging. It also offers 27W wired reverse charging and bypass charging support.
On the connectivity front, the OnePlus Nord 6 supports dual SIM with Dual SIM Dual Active functionality (no eSIM support). It includes support for multiple LTE and 5G bands, Wi-Fi 7 with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 6 with advanced codecs including aptX, LDAC, LHDC 5.0, and NFC. Navigation systems include GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC.
Additional features include dual stereo speakers with 300% Super Audio Mode, OReality Audio support, noise cancellation and an X-axis linear motor for enhanced haptics. It also has a whole set of necessary sensor such as the In-display Fingerprint Sensor, Accelerometer, Electronic Compass, “6-axis” Gyroscope, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Color Temperature Sensor and Sensor Core.
The device measures 16.25 cm in height, 7.75 cm in width, and 0.85 cm in thickness, weighing 217 grams. It also meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards.
