OnePlus is gearing up to reveal its next mid-range phone, the OnePlus Nord CE 5. The phone was recently spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification site and now it’s also appeared on India’s BIS certification website, which hints that the launch isn’t too far away. Here’s what we know.

According to the BIS listing, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 carries the model number CPH2717. While the device was initially expected to arrive in May, the latest info suggests it will launch sometime in June.

The Nord CE 5 is said to come with a Full HD+ flat OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’ll likely be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with a massive 7,100mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging.
Camera-wise, the phone is expected to offer a 50MP main rear sensor using Sony’s Lytia LYT-600, along with an 8MP ultrawide lens powered by the Sony IMX355 sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 16MP front camera is tipped.
Other leaks revealed that the phone might come with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a hybrid SIM slot, an IR blaster and a single speaker.
Meanwhile, a more premium OnePlus Nord 5 is also in the works. It’s expected to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition from China. Leaks suggest it will feature a 1.5K flat OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a Dimensity 9400e chipset, a 7,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging, and a dual rear camera setup with 50MP + 8MP sensors.
