Sony’s upcoming mid-range smartphone named the Sony Xperia 10 VII has surfaced online through a premature product listing in Hong Kong. The leak is accompanied by renders of the phone in all colours. While Sony has yet to confirm the launch date, the leaks provide a detailed look at the phone’s design, hardware, and expected features. The device is set to succeed last year’s Xperia 10 VI and continues Sony’s annual refresh cycle for the series.
One noticeable design change is the rear camera arrangement, which shifts from Sony’s usual vertical alignment to a horizontal layout.
The device will measure 153 x 72 x 8.3mm, weigh 169 grams, and is expected to launch in Charcoal Black, Cedar White, and Turquoise colour variants.

As per the listing, the Xperia 10 VII will feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It remains unclear whether Sony will offer a 120Hz refresh rate this time around.
In terms of cameras, the phone is said to include a dual rear setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP secondary lens, likely for ultra-wide photography. On the front, users can expect an 8MP selfie camera for photos, video calls, and social media use.
The Xperia 10 VII will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Storage expansion of up to 2TB via microSD card will also be supported. The smartphone is expected to ship with Android 15 out of the box.
Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery, while connectivity options include 5G (Sub-6 bands), NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C. The handset will also support dual SIM functionality.
While official pricing is yet to be revealed, the early listing hints that the Xperia 10 VII’s launch may be right around the corner.
Reports suggest that the device could be unveiled in October and made available in multiple regions, including Europe, the EU, and select Asian markets.
