Tipster Yogesh Brar had earlier claimed that the phone can cost between Rs 28,000 and Rs 29,000 for the base model. The expected price is not surprising as Poco F5 is a mid-range phone and its successor, the Poco F4, was also placed in the below Rs 30,000 price bracket. In March of this year, Qualcomm had announced the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, which is designed to cater to mid-range smartphones. The chip is a slightly toned-down version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, as indicated by its specifications.
