Tecno has quietly introduced its latest addition to the Camon series, the Tecno Camon 30S Pro.
This new device brings several notable features to the mid-range smartphone market, including the debut of MediaTek’s Helio G100 chipset and enhanced 4G connectivity.
While Tecno has yet to reveal official pricing, the Camon 30S Pro will be available in three stylish color options: Pearl Gold, Shim Silver Green, and Interstellar Grey.
Launch dates and market availability are expected to be announced soon.
The Camon 30S Pro introduces several innovations to Tecno’s lineup.
It’s the first device to feature the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, built on a 6nm process for improved efficiency.
The phone also boasts what Tecno calls “4.5G” connectivity, utilizing CA2.0 technology to double downlink speeds to 300Mbps.
Another first for Tecno is the inclusion of 20W wireless charging, complementing the device’s 45W wired fast charging capability.
The company has also implemented three charging modes – Hypercharge, Smart Charge, and Low Temp charge – to cater to different user needs.
The Camon 30S Pro’s 6.78-inch AMOLED display offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and impressive clarity with its 1080 x 2436 pixel resolution.
It also features TUV Rheinland low blue light certification and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for eye comfort.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with optical image stabilization.
While details on the other rear cameras are limited, we know there’s a 2MP depth sensor and a third, unspecified sensor.
The device runs on Android 14 with Tecno’s HIOS skin, promising a modern software experience.
Its 5000mAh battery should provide ample usage time, supported by various fast charging options.
Audio performance is enhanced with Dolby Atmos support, while the IP53 rating offers basic protection against dust and water splashes.
