Vivo has launched a new budget-friendly 5G smartphone in India, the Vivo Y19 5G. Aimed at entry-level users, it packs features like a smooth 90Hz display, AI-powered cameras, a large battery and a durable build. Here’s all we know about the device.
The Vivo Y19 5G sports a 6.74-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch, HD+ resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. The display is also TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light, making it easier on the eyes during long usage.
Design-wise, it has a sleek metallic matte frame with a stylish Rainbow Crystal Texture. It’s built to last too, the phone is IP64 rated for dust and water resistance and has passed the Swiss SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance Certification. It’s 8.19mm thick and weighs 199 grams.

On the camera front, you get a 13MP AI-assisted rear camera with Night, Portrait, and Pro modes. There are also handy features like AI Erase, AI Photo Enhance, and an AI Document Scanner. Up front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera with Portrait and Night modes.
The device runs Android 15 with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 15 on top.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 5,500mAh battery supports 15W charging and is backed by Vivo’s Smart Charging Engine 2.0 for better charging efficiency.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, a USB-C port, and a dedicated microSD card slot.
