It seems the upcoming Xiaomi 17T is moving closer to launch since the phone has been continuously appearing on multiple certification platforms. It was spotted on BIS in India, IMDA in Singapore and the FCC in the last few weeks. And now, the device has now received approval from Thailand’s NBTC authority. This latest certification hints at a global debut and also reveals some key details. Here’s more on that.
The latest NBTC listing confirms the Xiaomi 17T with model number 2602DPT53G. The certification does not reveal detailed hardware specifications but instead such listings typically indicate that a device is nearing its official launch phase.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro with model number 2602EPTC0G had also secured NBTC certification in Thailand last month. Reports suggest that both models in the lineup could be unveiled around the same time.
According to earlier FCC certification details, the Xiaomi 17T is expected to pack a large 6,360mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. The smartphone is also likely to be offered in multiple storage variants including 12GB RAM paired with 256GB and 512GB internal storage options.
In terms of connectivity, the device is tipped to support a wide range of modern standards including 5G NR, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC and Bluetooth for comprehensive wireless capabilities.
Camera details reportedly uncovered from the HyperOS codebase suggest that the Xiaomi 17T could feature a triple rear camera setup. This setup may include a 50-megapixel OmniVision OVX8000 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5D telephoto lens and a 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13B ultra-wide camera. If true, this would be a versatile imaging system for different shooting scenarios.
Xiaomi has not officially confirmed its launch plans yet especially considering that the Xiaomi 17 series has only recently debuted in the country. Just t o recall, Xiaomi last introduced its T-series flagship smartphones way back in 2022 with the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro.
More details about the Xiaomi 17T including its official launch timeline and pricing are expected to surface soon.
