Globus Infocom announces BYOD Mobile Technology Lab

Edtech company Globus Infocom recently launched a BYOD solution which is an advanced, digitally equipped smart learning setup that includes easy-to-use student tablets with book cover, preloaded multimedia learning content, charging trolley along with a high-resolution interactive display for teachers.

The high-definition interactive display perfectly synchronizes instructor based learning with the plethora of tools & resources available making classroom sessions rich & engaging. The display also bears in-built front facing sound system for powerful audio output.

The key element of this solution consists of 20 student tablets with interactive digital content, 1 auto charging trolley, 10 modular workstation, 20 chairs for students and 1 interactive flat panel display.

Digital Content is designed as per NCERT/STATE Board curriculum. The Interactive display also has inbuilt interactive suit that offers advanced tools to encourage added collaboration, productivity & engagement in the class with the advanced features of Artificial Intelligence Pen, annotation, subject tools, 3D objects and to write, edit, save, erase, highlight, email, print, record etc.

The solution focuses equally on ILT based training as well as self-learning practices for comprehensive learning experience. Laced with multimedia digital content for K-12 it makes learning engaging and receptive for students. The intuitive digital content software for classes 1-12 combines CBSE/NCERT based e-books, interactive exercises, 3D animations, science simulations, standard assessment, subject wise exercises along with sample questions. These features help upgrading the traditional pedagogical methods to advanced learning practices which spark a genuine interest among students towards learning varied concepts of their curriculum. Teachers can easily track the progress through the reporting dashboard. Availability of offline content helps teachers to continue with the classes in places with difficult internet availability. The whole class session can be recorded for the future reference of students who missed the class.

As per the requirement, the solution can also be clubbed with Language Lab software for Hindi/English/Sanskrit to develop linguistic skills among students. The software is available in Hindi/English/Sanskrit & focusses upon a blended learning approach catering to the four skills of Listening, Speaking, and Reading & Writing covering the finer skills from basic to advanced language proficiency via its multi-dimensional course structure. It is a blend of ILT & CBT based learning structure keeping equal focus on teacher led & self-learning practices. The curriculum designed provides interactive methods like, assessment and practice sheets, quizzes, audio and video rich multimedia content to make language learning more interesting and enriching for learners.
