Huawei has expanded its product portfolio in China with the launch of several new devices including the ultra-light MateBook Pro S laptop with a built-in privacy display. Alongside the new laptop, the company also introduced the Huawei MateBook Pro, Huawei MatePad Pro and the Huawei Nova 16 SE, marking the return of the Nova SE lineup. Here’s everything Huawei announced.
Huawei Nova 16 SE

The Huawei Nova 16 SE features a 6.84-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 8,000 nits peak brightness (1% APL), 2160Hz PWM dimming, and aluminosilicate glass protection.
Powering the smartphone is Huawei’s Kirin 8020 chipset. It runs HarmonyOS 6.1 and packs a massive 8,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.

For photography, the Nova 16 SE sports a 50-megapixel RYYB primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It is paired with a 1.5-megapixel Red Maple lens on the rear, while selfies are handled by a 32-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone also comes with an IP65 rating, IR blaster, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 7+, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC. It measures 7.98mm in thickness and weighs 229 grams.

The Huawei Nova 16 SE is priced at CNY 2,499 for the 12GB + 128GB variant.
Huawei MatePad Pro

Huawei has also launched the new MatePad Pro featuring a 12-inch 3K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,600 nits peak brightness, and 93 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The tablet is powered by the Kirin T93A processor and runs HarmonyOS 6.1. It packs a 10,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging and also supports 40W wired reverse charging.

For imaging, the MatePad Pro includes a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 12-megapixel front camera.
Other features include support for the Huawei M-Pencil Pro, quad speakers, quad microphones, a fingerprint scanner, USB 3.1 Gen 1, Wi-Fi 7+, and Bluetooth 6.0. The tablet measures just 4.7mm thick and weighs 439 grams.

Huawei MateBook Pro S

The highlight of the launch event was the Huawei MateBook Pro S, an ultra-light laptop that features a built-in Spirit Shield Anti-peep Privacy Screen.
It comes with a 14.2-inch 3.1K OLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,600 nits peak brightness, 600 nits typical brightness, and a 93.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The laptop is powered by the Kirin XE90 processor and uses a 3mm ultra-thin cooling fan for thermal management. It packs a 7,070mAh (54Wh) silicon-carbon battery with 66W fast charging support.

For cameras, the MateBook Pro S includes a 2-megapixel rear camera, a 1-megapixel IR camera, and a 2-megapixel front camera. It runs HarmonyOS 6.1.
Other highlights include quad speakers, a fingerprint scanner, a dedicated Privacy Key, Wi-Fi 7+, and Bluetooth 6.0. Connectivity options include one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port on the left with PD/SCP/UFCS support and another USB 3.2 Gen 1 port on the right with DisplayPort 1.2 and PD/SCP/UFCS support.
The laptop measures 11.9mm in thickness and weighs just 798 grams.

Pricing is as follows –

- CNY 9,999 for the 24GB + 512GB Soft Light Edition
Huawei MateBook Pro

Huawei also unveiled the new MateBook Pro featuring a 14.2-inch 3.1K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits peak brightness, 600 nits typical brightness, AR anti-reflective coating, and a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The laptop is powered by the Kirin X90 Plus chipset and uses a dual cooling fan setup. It houses a 6,000mAh (70Wh) silicon-carbon battery with support for 140W fast charging.
The MateBook Pro features a 2-megapixel front camera and runs HarmonyOS 6.1. It also supports the Huawei M-Pen 3.
Other features include six speakers, a fingerprint scanner, a dedicated Privacy Key, Wi-Fi 7+, and Bluetooth 5.2. The laptop offers two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports on the left with DisplayPort 1.2 and PD/SCP/UFCS support, along with one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port on the right that also supports DisplayPort 1.2 and PD/SCP/UFCS.
The MateBook Pro measures 13.5mm thick and weighs 970 grams.
The Huawei MateBook Pro is priced at CNY 9,999 for the 24GB + 512GB variant.
