Motorola has officially unveiled its latest ultra-thin smartphone, the Moto X70 Air. Measuring just 5.99mm thick and weighing 159 grams, the device is only 0.4mm thicker and 5 grams lighter than Apple’s iPhone Air. Despite its slim build, Motorola has managed to include a 4,800mAh battery. Interestingly, it is 52% larger than the iPhone Air’s battery and supports 68W fast charging along with 20W wireless charging. Here’s all you need to know about the latest mid-budget slim phone.
The Moto X70 Air features a 6.7-inch P-OLED display with a 2712 x 1220 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint scanner is seamlessly integrated under the display.
For photography, Motorola has included a 50MP front camera and a triple rear camera setup, each equipped with 50MP sensors. The primary lens uses a large 1/1.4-inch sensor and offers optical image stabilisation (OIS) for improved clarity and low-light performance.
The Moto X70 Air also boasts IP68 and IP69 certifications, making it both waterproof and dust-resistant. Its build quality is reinforced by special protective glass and an aluminium frame, ensuring better durability against drops.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, positioning it as a strong mid-range performer.
The device runs on Android 16, although Motorola has yet to specify the duration of software support for this mid-range model.
