Nokia G11 Plus launched, promises three-day battery life, check other specifications

Nokia has just added a new product under its G series. Featuring dual rear cameras, 90Hz display for an even smoother smartphone experience and 180Hz touch sampling rate, the newly added smartphone G11 Plus has made a silent entry to the market. Going by the name, the latest launch by the Nokia seems to be an upgraded version of the Nokia G11 that was launched earlier this year. The latest edition to the G series, Nokia G11 Plus promises to offer up to three days of battery life on a single charge.

Additionally, the brand has promised to offer two Android upgrades and three years of monthly security updates from the date of its global debut.

The Nokia website has listed the details about the Nokia G11 Plus, without disclosing its price. Launched in Charcoal Grey and Lake Blue, the smartphone comes with 6.517 inch screen and is listed in a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.

Nokia G11, the predecessor of Nokia G11 Plus was launched in February at AED 499 (roughly Rs. 10,700) for the lone 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model. It was launched in Charcoal and Ice colours.

Nokia G11 Plus specifications

The Nokia G11 Plus features a 6.517-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Exact processor details of Nokia G11 Plus is yet to be revealed by Nokia brand licensee HMD Global. However, the official website of Nokia confirms that the phone has 4GB of RAM. On the optics front, the Nokia G11 Plus has the dual rear camera setup that houses a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The camera setup is paired with an LED flash.

For selfies and video chats, the Nokia G11 Plus carries an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.

The Nokia G11 Plus comes with 64GB of onboard storage that supports expansion via microSD card (up to 512GB).

In terms of connectivity, Nokia G11 Plus offers Bluetooth, 3.5 mm headphone jack, GPS/AGPS, USB Type-C (USB 2.0) OTG and WiFi. The smartphone comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Besides, the phone measures 164.8×75.9×8.55mm and weighs 192 grams.

Earlier, Nokia launched its G21 with features similar to what it is offering in Nokia G11 Plus. The Nokia G21 comes with a three-day battery, 50MP triple AI Camera, 2 years of Android OS upgrades & 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is available at starting price of Rs 12,999. Nokia G21 is the successor of Nokia G20.

Powered by Unisoc T606 processor Nokia G11 and Nokia G21 have Bluetooth 5.0 and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Both the models are available in two colour options. G21 is available in Nordic Blue and Dusk while G11 is available in Charcoal and Ice blue.
