OnePlus Nord 6 is set to arrive in India on April 7, but that’s not the only phone to look forward to from the brand. OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to expand its mid-range lineup in India with the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. A new leak today has hinted at a possible launch timeline. While not much is known about the smartphone yet, new reports are giving us a brief idea of what to expect. So, here’s what we know so far.
Tipster Mukul Sharma @stufflistings on X has suggested that both the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite will launch in India in May 2026. While the exact launch date is still unknown, OnePlus is expected to begin teasing the devices in April, following the debut of the Nord 6.

The tipster also shared a first live look at the Nord CE 6, revealing a matte-black finish and a dual rear camera setup housed within a squircle-shaped module.
Meanwhile, an exclusive report by 91mobiles has shared some key details about the OnePlus Nord CE 6. According to the report, the phone is expected to pack a massive 8,000mAh battery, likely based on silicon-carbon technology. This would mark a significant upgrade over the 7,100mAh battery found in its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord CE 5.
Large battery capacities are becoming a growing trend in 2026. Notably, the upcoming OnePlus Nord 6 is also tipped to feature an even bigger 9,000mAh battery.
The Nord CE 6 is expected to come with 8GB of RAM as the base variant. While a higher 12GB RAM option is likely, there is currently no official confirmation regarding it.
In terms of colours, the smartphone is said to be available in at least two options, which are Black and White.
In separate news, OnePlus India has announced an expansion of its after-sales service network. It will now include over 600 service centres across the country. This move is expected to address concerns around the brand’s operations in India and improve customer support.
