Vivo X300 Series First Look.

Vivo has started teasing its highly anticipated Vivo X300 series, confirming earlier this week that the lineup will be powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 chipset alongside the company’s in-house V3+ imaging chip. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared what appears to be a detailed spec sheet, giving us a closer look at Vivo’s next flagship smartphones.

The Vivo X300 recently surfaced on Geekbench, showcasing the raw power of the Dimensity 9500. The chipset will be officially announced on September 22, just a day before the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 launch. Complementing it, Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip will allow the X300 to record cinematic portrait video at 4K 60fps.

According to Han Boxiao, this will be a “first for both Android and Apple phones.” For comparison, the latest iPhone 17 series can shoot cinematic portrait video at 4K but only at 30fps, the same as Vivo’s outgoing X200 series. Han also teased that more details about the video capabilities will be revealed tomorrow.

Vivo has partnered with ARM and MediaTek to improve the NPU inside the Dimensity 9500, enabling millisecond-level motion tracking and ultra-fast shutter response. The chipset is also set to make the X300 the first smartphone to cross the 4 million mark on AnTuTu, as shown in a screenshot shared by Han.

Adding to the list of firsts, the Vivo X300 Ultra is tipped to debut as the world’s first phone with two 200MP cameras.

Geekbench Scores and Global Variant Details

Vivo X300 allegedly spotted in Geekbench.

The global version of the Vivo X300, reportedly carrying the model number V2515, was spotted on Geekbench. The listing, first shared online by tipster Anvin @ZionsAnvin on X (formerly Twitter), shows the device powered by the Dimensity 9500, achieving a single-core score of 3,177 and a multi-core score of 9,701.

Meanwhile, tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd on X claims that the X300 will launch in India with 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB storage options.

Colour choices are expected to include Blue, Red, and Black. The 16GB RAM model seems certain, as the prototype listed on Geekbench also had 16GB RAM and confirmed Android 16 out of the box.

Additionally, the X300 series has been spotted on Indonesian SDPPI and EEC certifications, but neither the X300 nor the X300 Pro has yet appeared on India’s BIS database.
